OPENING

Cross Valley Water District is expanding and looking for an Inspector / Utility Service Worker II to join our team.   We are seeking committed, hardworking individuals to join our team with a passion for public service providing quality clean water.

INSPECTOR / UTILITY SERVICE WORKER II

Salary Range for 2022:  $5,703.00 – $7,643.00/monthly

Position placement and pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications.


The opportunity as an Inspector, you will be responsible for observing the construction and installation of water and wastewater facilities for conformance with District approved project plans, District design and construction standards, right-of-way agency requirements, and governmental regulations and/or guidelines. You will also be performing and/or assisting in performing technical work locating and marking underground water & sewer utilities using maps, record drawings, GIS software, and electronic equipment.  This position is also responsible for repair, maintenance, installation, and adjustment of the District’s water distribution system, sewage collection system, plants, and reservoirs.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a water sewer service worker in a water or sewer district or utility maintenance and installation operations in the construction industry or equivalent and or three years of inspecting construction projects or working on public works construction projects. Must have Valid WA State Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to the District.
