New Customers

New accounts are set up under the legal property owner’s name. Please give us a call at 360-668-6766 when you purchase your home. We will collect mailing and contact info, provide billing information, and answer any questions you may have. We enjoy welcoming new customers to our district!

Balances from Previous Owners

Many Washington residents are not aware that, unlike other utilities, water charges are lienable on the property. State law RCW 57.08.081(3) allows the District to lien the property. If the previous owner does not pay the balance on the account, it is moved to the current account.

Selling Customers 

It is customary that your escrow company will contact us prior to the sale closing, to request an estimated final bill. After the sale closes, we will get a reading on the closing date, calculate the final charges, and send the final bill to the escrow company. They will pay your bill with funds they are holding in escrow. In the event of an overpayment, we will send you a refund.

Please contact us at 360-668-6766 prior to the closing to provide us with a forwarding address. If the closing date changes or the sale does not go through, please let us know. There is a $30 fee for closing your account.


We do not process final bills for tenants.
